PERS CONFERENCE – Quantum Machineprovider of breakthrough quantum control solutions that accelerate the realization of practical quantum computers, announced today Alice & BobA cutting-edge quantum computer vendor with a mission to develop universal and error-free quantum computers, has selected Quantum Machines’ advanced quantum control platform, OPX+, to power their advanced quantum computers.
Alice & Bob have demonstrated the ability to build qubits that are resilient to bit-inverting errors, which occur when a qubit’s state changes accidentally due to external factors such as noise or interference. The company’s approach uses superconducting cat qubits, which their experimental evidence suggests are designed to eliminate bit-flip errors. This groundbreaking discovery provides a shortcut to developing a universal, scalable quantum computer, with potentially hundreds of times fewer qubits.
Quantum Machines OPX+ incorporates a unique Pulse Processor Unit (PPU) that integrates classical processing and flow control at the heart of a quantum control system, managing both quantum and classical operations of the same device. PPU enables the implementation of complex quantum error correction and error mitigation in real time. A unique quantum control platform, OPX was designed from the ground up to enable ultra-low latency quantum classical processing, dramatically accelerating quantum performance by an order of magnitude.
