Claire chats with Professor Yang Gao from the University of Surrey about space robots and planetary exploration.
Yang Gao is Professor of Aerospace Autonomous Systems and Founding Chief of STAR LAB specializing in robotic sensing, perception, visual guidance, navigation and control (GNC) and biomimetic mechanisms for industrial applications in extreme environments. He brings with him over 20 years of research experience in developing robotics and autonomous systems, where he has been principal investigator of more than 30 inter/national cooperative projects and has been involved in the development of real-world missions.
