Claire chats with Georgia Chalvatzaki of the Technical University of Darmstadt about assistive robots for locomotion, learning and planning.

Georgia Chalvatzaki is Professor of Robotic Perception and Learning at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. Previously, he was Assistant Professor and Leader of the Independent Research Group since March 2021, having been awarded the renowned Emmy Noether grant from the German Research Foundation. He completed his Ph.D. in 2019 at the Intelligent Robotics and Automation Lab at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, with his thesis “Human-Centered Modeling for Assistive Robotics: Stochastic Estimation and Robot Learning in Decision-Making.”
