AceCryptor: Powerful Weapon of Cybercriminals, Detected in 240K+ Attacks

The crypter malware (pronounced cryptor) nicknamed AceCryptor has been used to package many types of malware since 2016. Slovak cybersecurity firm ESET says it has identified more than 240,000 crypter detections in telemetry in 2021 and 2022. This number stands at more than 10,000 hits per month.
