Cryptocurrency industry reputation suffers as FTX and Bitcoin fall to bottom 2023 Axios Harris Poll 100

A recent survey by Axios and Harris Poll, which surveyed 16,310 Americans, yielded some interesting results about where two particular organizations stand in the cryptocurrency business. FTX, the defunct cryptocurrency exchange, is given a score of 99 out of 100, placing it at the very bottom of the list. Bitcoin has also made its list debut, coming in at number 93 among the best businesses and organizations.

Reputation issues for FTX and Bitcoin were highlighted in the Visible Brands survey

According to the top 100 companies ranked from best to worst in terms of reputation, according to the 2023 Axios Harris Poll 100, FTX has a less prominent reputation. According to Axios, the aim of the study was to “measure the reputation of the most visible brands in America.” It is interesting to note that this year’s survey includes two items with a crypto theme: the now-defunct crypto exchange FTX and the top cryptocurrency asset by market cap, bitcoin (BTC).

According to the survey, FTX and bitcoin have a bad reputation when compared to other lists of well-known companies because they are at the bottom of the list. Trump’s organization, which is considered the worst visible brand in the country, is right above FTX in the bottom two. While Spirit Airlines (95), Meta (96), Fox (98), and Twitter (97) are right above the cryptocurrency companies that went bankrupt.

Tiktok and Bitcoin are listed, with Tiktok being at number 94 and bitcoin at number 93. Companies BP (92), Balenciaga (91), Family Dollar (90), Dollar Tree (89), Wells Fargo (88), and Comcast (87) ) is a notable example of a company that is ranked higher than bitcoin. Poll participants were asked to rank the 100 most well-known organizations on nine different criteria to determine their reputation. This makes it possible to determine a Reputation Quotient, or RQ score, for each business.

The most recent survey was conducted by Axios and Harris from March 13 to March 28, 2023, using the same methodology as in 1999. Patagonia, Costco, John Deere, Trader Joe’s, Chick-fil-A, Toyota, Samsung, Amazon, USAA, and Apple is among the top ten most well-known brands with a stronger reputation than most, according to the poll.
