AMETIC’s Overview of the Quantum Industry in Spain

AMETIK is an association representing the digital industry in Spain. In 2017 they formed the Working Group on Quantum Technologies and in 2019 published their first report on the state of quantum in Spain entitled “Quantum Spain: The business approach” (“Quantum Spain: The Business Approach”). They recently published a 2023 update to the report which includes a list of organizations in Spain working on quantum, interviews with key individuals involved with technology, quantum ethics, suggestions on how companies can adopt quantum in their organizations, recommendations for a Spanish strategy on quantum , and a list of financing channels.
