Q-CTRL have initiated a project to refurbish a 1930s Heritage-listed industrial building into a facility that will contain the company’s administrative headquarters as well as a laboratory for their quantum sensing R&D. The company receives funding assistance from the New South Wales Government’s Jobs Plus program and a Modern Manufacturing Initiative Translation grant from the Australian federal government. It will be located in the Chippendale area of Sydney near the Tech Central and University of Sydney city projects. The company indicated this will be the first commercial facility in Australia dedicated to quantum technology and is expected to be ready for enterprise in the fourth quarter of 2023. Additional information is available in a press release posted on the Q-CTRL website Here.
