Terra Quantum Acquires Software Company named divis intelligent solutions GmbH

Quantum Earth announced it had acquired smart solutions division GmbH (“divis”), a software company based in Dortmund, Germany that develops algorithms for use in efficient data analysis, automated machine learning, and process optimization for clients in industries including automotive, chemical, consumer, energy, and synthetic materials. Enterprises will work to extend their classical optimization algorithms to take advantage of potential performance advantages in hybrid and hybrid classical/quantum platforms including areas such as quantum machine learning (QML). division founder Professor Thomas Bäck will remain Managing Director of the division and Professor of Computer Science at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science.
