The news cycle is flooded with articles about (what aren’t always aptly named) artificial intelligence – some good, some bad, and some ugly. The fact that some people are using newly available technology to turn friendly public photos into sexually explicit images, including into child sex abuse material, is clearly reprehensible and a growing problem. Thousands of faked but true-to-life child abuse sex images have been found online and subsequently shared or traded on the dark web and mainstream content sharing sites.
