Who News: Management Updates at Quantum Brilliance, Terra Quantum, QuSecure, Quantum Computing Inc., and SandboxAQ

Quantum Brilliance has been named Mark Luo as Chief Executive Officer and former CEO, Andrew Horley, now serves as Chief Technical Officer. Mr. Luo is the co-founder of Quantum Brilliance and was previously Chief Operating Officer. Previously he was New Ventures Manager for the Australian National Science Agency, CSIRO“ON Program”, Australia’s largest National Accelerator. Dr. Horsley was previously the CEO and co-founder of the company. And previously he spent several years researching diamond quantum computing technology at the Australian National University and the University of Stuttgart. Terra Quantum has announced it Dr Eike Marx have joined the company as their first Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategic Officer. Dr. Marx has a background in physics where he obtained his PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge (Cavendish Laboratory, UK) and also finance where he most recently served as Managing Director at Arma Partners, a firm London-based investment bank. QuSecure has been named Aaron Moore as Executive Vice President of Engineering they are responsible for leading the company’s engineering and software development activities. Mr. Moore has 30 years of R&D and technical executive experience at commercial firms including Raytheon, Northrup Grumman, Harris Corporation, SAIC and others as well as many years of government service at DARPA, Office of National Reconnaissance, National Security Agency, Missile Defense Agency and US Army. Quantum Computing Inc. (QCI) has been appointed dr to the company’s Technical Advisory Board. Dr. LaMacchia is an expert in cybersecurity and cryptography. He recently retired from Microsoft where he spent 25 years, most recently as the Security and Cryptography team leader at Microsoft Research. He will advise QCI on the development and strategic placement of their photonic technology including its many applications for cryptography and computer security. And SandboxAQ has announced it Teresa Shea will serve as a senior adviser to the company’s Global Public Sector team. He has over 38 years of experience in intelligence, cybersecurity and defense with experience at Raytheon Intelligence and Space, In-Q-Tel, and 32 years with the US National Security Agency (NSA) with his most recent position as Director of Intelligence Signals.
